Forest Therapy: Your Sacred Message

Since my childhood, I have loved spending time in the forest. When I moved to Vancouver Island in 2017, the nature around me deeply touched me.

During hikes with my husband, I take moments to connect to anything that looks harmonious and beautiful: the color of an evening sky, a beautiful form of a tree or of a plant, the soft feathers of a bird, or the shape of a cloud…

Sometimes it might feel that I receive something from these objects or forms like a sacred message that felt guiding and supportive, but it is also that through focusing on them for a moment, my own energy gets stronger.

Perhaps these images, and what lives within them, may offer you a moment of clarity — or something your heart recognizes and you can stay closer to yourself, to be less affected by what is going on around you.

To receive guidance, it is essential to learn how to ask clear questions.

Maybe this will be helpful for you:

Take a deep breath, center yourself, and bring your attention to your current challenge or intention.

Holding your intention, take a quiet moment and ask inwardly:

“My dear soul, please share the wisdom you hold for me right now regarding my intention.”

Find a place in your body where you feel peaceful and comfortable.

Then click on the Wheel of the Four Directions below and allow your attention to rest on the image that appears.
Read the words and notice what you feel.

You can do this as many times as you like.
